Remodeling of a municipal facility in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 1,468-square-foot municipal facility.

Project consists of an interior wood framed remodel of approximately 1,468 square feet to the existing Head Start/Outreach building in Rock Rapids, IA. Project is new wood construction to reconfigure the interior office space and kitchen, with wood framing, drywall, painting, HVAC, plumbing and electrical work. The successful bidder shall coordinate the project with the Owner Work on the Project shall commence as soon as school is closed for the summer and after award of the Contract, starting in June 2026, and in conjunction with and is currently scheduled for a single substantial completion date. The last substantial completion date shall be on or before August 21, 2026. The Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc. Board of Directors may make the contract award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting specifications. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities as allowed by law, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interests of the Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc. The contract will be awarded based on the following combination of factors including: price, contractor qualifications, demonstrated experience, and the ability to complete the project by the specified deadline. Bidders shall make good faith documented effort to encourage the participation of Certified Iowa Targeted Small Business in accordance with the Code of Iowa.
