A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Gregg County Emergency Services District No. 1 ("ESD No. 1" or "ESD") is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals ("Proposals") for the removal of existing flooring and replacing it with vinyl plank flooring at Elderville Lakeport Volunteer Fire Department ("ELVFD") Station #1. The desired project delivery method is Competitive Sealed Proposals as described in chapter 2269, subchapter D., of the Texas Government Code. The project is for removal and replacement of approximately 10,000 square feet of existing flooring which is now primarily carpet. The new flooring is to be commercial grade vinyl plank flooring. An asbestos report of the existing flooring should be included in the proposal as well as moisture testing prior to installation of the new flooring. A site visit is required before submitting a proposal. The ESD Board reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to postpone selection of the highest scored proposal, and expressly reserves the right to not award a contract related to this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals to any company. To the extent of any conflict between this published notice and the complete Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals, the complete Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals will control.
