The intent is to describe the minimum specifications for contract landscape mowing and maintenance, including fertilization and pre-emergent weed control, for the City of Keller Public Works Department. Site Maintenance Specifications: MSC, 151 Bear Creek Parkway West o Rotary mow all turf areas throughout the site on a seven (7) day cycle, or as otherwise directed by the City representative. o Vertically edge all curbs, trails, and sidewalks to maintain a clean, defined appearance. o String trim (weed eat) around all flowerbeds, signage, fence lines, poles, and other landscape obstacles. o Mow and trim around all trees carefully to avoid damage to trunks or lower canopies. No mowing is permitted within 18 inches of tree trunks. o The Courtyard, East Lawn islands, and Marquee sign area must be mowed using a push mower, and all clippings in these areas shall be bagged and removed from the site weekly. o Use of large riding mowers, including 580s, is prohibited at this site due to space and sensitivity of landscape features.
