Question Deadline 06/05/2025 In general, no answer will be given to an oral question if the answer involves an interpretation of the intent or meaning of the Contract Documents or Plans, or the equality or use of products or methods other than those definitely designated or described on the Plans or in the Specifications.To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least 7 days before the advertised date for receipt of bids. All work on the Project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Bleckley County prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to Bleckley County for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids. Bleckley County, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals.
