Site work for a water / sewer project in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work under this contract consists of but not necessarily limited to water and sewer abandonments and new infrastructure construction in the residential area southeast of Inukshuk (24th Avenue). New utilidor (water and sanitary) infrastructure is proposed to be installed along Siqiniq (25th Street), Aivilik (23rd Street), Uqaqti (22nd Street), Aktakuurvik Street, Taqiq (25th Avenue), and Inukshuk (24th Avenue) . Existing utilidor infrastructure is currently located at the rear of residences and will need to be abandoned once the new infrastructure is in service. New water and sanitary services are intended to be realigned to the front of homes, which will necessitate some work beneath houses. The work will also include coordination with Qulliq Energy Corporation for power pole bracing and relocations, traffic accommodation, and the provision of temporary overland water servicing as noted in drawings and specifications.
