Site work for a water / sewer project in Kuna, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Base Bid: The contractor shall install isolation valves on the hot and cold water lines serving a common riser of 4 cells. This shall be typical of Blocks E, F, and H. The contractor shall install "screw driver stops" on all shower hot and cold water supply lines. This shall be typical of Blocks E, F, and H. Contractor shall completely replace all hot and cold water piping associated with the block tempering stations for Blocks E, F, G, and H. New recirculation pumps and mixing valves shall be provided. Bid Alternate #1: The contractor shall install isolation valves on the hot and cold water lines serving a common riser of 4 cells. This shall be typical of Block G. The contractor shall install "screw driver stops" on all shower hot and cold water supply lines. This shall be typical of Block G. Bid Alternate #2: Contractor shall install anti-scald" temperature monitoring stations on the tempering stations associated with Blocks E, F, G, and H. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and electrical subcontractors from the Architect (Engineer) for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
