The Project consists of roof replacement and metal wall panel replacement. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 10-percent of the base bid PLUS any Add Alternates in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to Greater Latrobe School District. The School District reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject, any or all, or parts of any and all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 60-days, subsequent to the opening of bids, without the consent of the Greater Latrobe School District. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Work includes all work necessary for the demolition of the existing roof and wall panel construction and the installation of new roofing and wall panels. Temporary facilities and controls in the General Construction Contract include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Temporary facilities and controls that are not otherwise specifically assigned to other contracts. 2. Unpiped temporary toilet fixtures, wash facilities, and drinking water facilities, including disposable supplies.3. Temporary enclosure for building exterior. 4. Excavation support and protection for the Work of the contract. 5. Project identification and temporary signs. 6. General waste disposal facilities. 7. Temporary fire-protection facilities. 8. Barricades, warning signs, and lights. 9. Site enclosure fence including any staging areas. 10. Security enclosure and lockup. 11. Restoration of Owner's existing facilities used as temporary facilities. C. Additional Coordination with Other Contracts 1. Roofing installation to be coordinated with future HVAC equipment replacement project.
