The purpose of this RFQ is to invite vendors who have the necessary qualifications and experience relative to the scope and nature of this project to provide quotes for the removal, repair and replacement of building eavestroughs. Based on the responses gathered, and the selection criteria indicated in this RFQ, one contractor will be selected to complete the work. The arrangement with the successful proponent will be established by means of a Contract based on the quotation form attached to this RFQ. 1. All work shall be in accordance with all local and provincial codes and regulations. All work shall be performed by a qualified tradesman, tested and under warranty for a period of one year from acceptance date of work. 2. The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, tools, equipment and services including transportation necessary to complete the Work. The intent is that the Contractor provides a complete job. Demolition and disposal costs are to be included in the contractor's quote. Site is to be clear of all debris upon completion of demolition work. 3. The contractor shall be responsible for all damages to the building and services as a result of this work, activities of this work and activities of his workmen or their negligent security arrangements. Damages shall be repaired at contractor's own expense. 4. All products shall be as specified or a prior-approved equal before contractor commences work. The costs of any changes affecting other disciplines, including approved alternatives, shall be included in the contract cost.
