Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hamilton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The proposed work for the project shall include, but is not limited to removal, disposal and replacement of granulated activated carbon (GAC) adsorber at four locations throughout the Township. Contract duration will be 60 Calendar Days. Other miscellaneous items of work shall be included, as directed by the Owner. 1.02 DESCRIPTION OF WORK The project shall consist of the following improvements: 1. Klockner Pump Station Description o Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) tank Manufactured by DEI Systems, Inc. o Remove existing GAC adsorber SAI 46-KOH o Disposal of GAC according to all applicable regulations. o Clean tank for new GAC adsorber SAI 46-KOH (or equivalent) installation o Install GAC o GAC volume is 7'6" in diameter and 3'0" in elevation. o Put the system back into service 2. Deutzville Pump Station Description o FRP tank Manufactured by DEI Systems, Inc. o Remove existing GAC adsorber SAI 46-KOH o Disposal of GAC according to all applicable regulations. o Clean tank for new GAC adsorber SAI 46-KOH (or equivalent) installation o Install GAC o GAC volume is 2'4" in diameter and 1'6" in elevation. o Put the system back into service 3. Papps Village Pump Station Description o Removal and disposal of Polyethylene (PE) 55 gallon drum containing GAC o Disposal of GAC according to all applicable regulations. o Install new PE 55 gallon drum containing 180 pounds of virgin grade vapor phase carbon-4 mm pellets (or equivalent) o Existing PVC fittings will need to replaced/reinstalled to put the system back into service. 4. Highlands Pump Station Description o Removal and disposal of PE 55 gallon drum containing GAC o Disposal of GAC according to all applicable regulations. o Install new PE 55 gallon drum containing 180 pounds of virgin grade vapor phase carbon-4 mm pellets (or equivalent) o Existing PVC fittings will need to replaced/reinstalled to put the system back into service.
