Renovation of a mixed-use development in Roselle, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and municipal facility.
Toilet Room Alterations - Roselle Borough Hall and Anthony Amalfe Community Center. A bid guaranty shall accompany the bid proposal and shall be given in the amount of 10% of the base bid, but not in excess of $20,000 unless otherwise required by law or regulation of the United States, and may be given at the option of the bidder by certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond to the order of "Borough of Roselle" from a reputable insurance company authorized to do business in New Jersey. Bids may be held by the Borough of Roselle for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the contract, unless said period is extended by mutual consent. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L 1975, c. 127 (affirmative action). In addition, all bidders shall provide a statement which shall set forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation or partnership who own 10% or greater interest therein. This information is required pursuant to Chapter 33, Public Law 1977, and cannot be waived or cured after the receipt of bids. Failure to comply will result in the REJECTION of the bid. No bid will be accepted that does not conform to the specifications. The Borough of Roselle reserves the right to waive technical deficiencies and to reject any and all bids if such rejection shall be found to be in the best interest of the Borough, and to waive nonmaterial informalities in any bid in such a manner as shall be deemed, in the judgment of the Borough of Roselle, to be in the best interest of the Roselle, all in conformity with the law. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 4011-16, as applied to single overall building contracts. Please note in order to be on the list for the potential bidders the bids have to requested by the bidders themselves, the bids won't be accepted from the bidders who are not on the list. Bid date notes: Bids must be made on standard proposal forms provided with the documents and in the manner designated by the specifications; must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder, must be DELIVERED to the Purchasing Agent for opening at the time and place aforesaid. Delivery of bid must be in person, Federal Express or Express Mail Service.
