Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project will rehabilitate approximately 1.3 miles of existing native soil trails. Work includes but is not limited to: Erosion and sediment controls; clearing deadfalls, select tree pruning along trail corridors; regrading, resurfacing, and restoring existing trail tread, installation of drainage dips, check dams and other drain features; installation of treated lumber box steps; installation of treated lumber culvert crossings, and other work as defined on the contract documents. Answers to all bidder questions will be posted no later than Thursday, May 22, 2025. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of not less than 10% (ten-percent) of the bid value. The anticipated Construction start date for this work is as early as July 1st, 2025, subject to Contractor availability. The required Substantial Completion Date for the work is April 30, 2026, and Final Completion by May 31, 2026. Bidders are required to submit a proposed schedule with their bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% performance bond, a 100% labor and materials payment bond and a 10% maintenance bond. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The Owner of the Project is The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (PPC) on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh. Consideration will be given to bids received from qualified bidders that perform quality work for the lowest responsible price. The PPC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or any part of a Bid, and to waive informalities, and to award the Bid in the best interest of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. No Bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days following the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids.
