Project Overview The project involves the replacement of vehicle lifts across three buildings in Labrador, Canada: Building 340 (Vehicle Maintenance Garage), Building 270 (Wood and Auto Hobby Shop), and Hangar 5. The work includes the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of new vehicle lifts, removal and disposal of existing lifts, and all associated engineering and modifications. The General Contractor shall be responsible for all aspects of the project, including subcontracted engineering services, and shall ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards in Newfoundland and Labrador. Project Locations and Lift Replacement Details The General Contractor shall replace the following vehicle lifts at the specified locations: Building 340 - Vehicle Maintenance Garage Lift 1: Replace existing 4-post, 30,000 lb capacity lift with a new 4-post, 30,000 lb capacity lift (in-kind replacement). Lift 2: Replace existing 4-post, 18,000 lb capacity lift with a new 4-post, 18,000 lb capacity lift (in-kind replacement). Lift 3: Replace existing 4-post, 12,000 lb capacity lift with a new 2-post, 12,000 lb capacity lift. Building 270 - Wood and Auto Hobby Shop Lift 1: Replace existing 4-post, 25,000 lb capacity lift with a new 2-post, 10,000 lb capacity lift.
