Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Florence, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project includes the following work: Parking lot demolition and parking lot expansion per the construction documents. The work under this project shall include, but not be limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work as specified in the approved bid documents. Each bidder shall file with his bid a bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid amount up to a maximum of $10,000.00, payable to the City of Flo-rence, Alabama. Each bid-der must file either a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama Bank or a bid bond executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make bonds in the State of Ala-bama. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond of 100% of the contract price at the time of the contract's sign-ing. Also, a Payment Bond of 50% of the contract amount will be required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days from the date set for receiving of the same. Document Note: Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to GMC.
