Provide the required Materials, Equipment and Forces for the Preparation and Painting of Landfill Methane Flare Stack, to current code based on the following: All work must comply with PEI Perennial Energy Product Data and Instructions Reference PEI Energy Engineering Drawings- PA-001-0618 92of2) , OS-009-0138 for the flare stack dimensional information; Reference Forrest Technical Coatings Technical Data Sheets 53H800 and 54H050 for coating information; Completed dry film thickness must comply with Technical Coating Data Sheets supplied by the manufacturer Surface preparation must comply with manufacturer Technical Data Sheet specifications.. All material for surface preparation and painting shall be provided; It is recommended that the vendor shall use Forrest high temperature red oxide primer 54H050 with a colour coat of Stove Bright paint 54H800 in the 6307 Sand Colour (53H8001l is the gallon number, 1A53H800A1 is the part number for the aerosol can for touch-ups) Products from other paint manufacturers may be acceptable if they meet the same performance parameters as the Forrest paints. (supply paint specifications with Tender) Vendor shall supply six (6) touch up aerosol touch up cans of 1A53H800A1 (or equivalent) as part of the tender.. Any refuse material may be disposed of at the City Landfill at no charge.. Surface preparation and painting shall take place during Landfill operational hours : 8:30 am to 4:30pm; Monday to Friday . Arrangements may be made for Saturday work dependent on seasonal Landfill working hours. All surface preparation and painting shall meet environmental and protection requirements. Vendors must have previous experience in metal preparation and painting operations.. Vendors to provide references for performance of projects with similar scope completed within the past five (5) years Vendors need to include current proof of liability insurance, WSIB Clearance Certificate and environmental compliance and shall be maintained for the duration of this contract. A mandatory site visit has been scheduled and all bidders must attend to submit a bid on this project. The successful vendor is required to have appropriate safety training including: use of PPE, Lock-Out /Tag Out, Respirators, Media Blast Preparation , Arial Lift Operation, Working at Heights, and Daily Safety Tailboards. The successful Vendor will be required to attend Project Launch Meeting at the Landfill before on-site work commences.
