Project Completion : Flexible SM No. CSTP0022010951 Value Estimate Range - $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 For Federal Aid Projects the attention of bidders is directed to the contract provisions governing selection and employment of labor contained in the bid proposal. Minimum wage rates for Federal Aid Projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581, Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the contract provisions. Unless otherwise set out in the bid proposal, all other projects are subject to the predetermined minimum wage rate set by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Fair Labor Standards Act. When a DBE goal is contained in the contract, the award will be contingent upon the Contractor satisfying the DBE requirements. Bid bond, signed or countersigned by a Mississippi Resident Agent or qualified non-resident agent, with Power of Attorney attached or on file with the Contract Administration Engineer of the Department, a Cashier's Check or Certified Check for five (5%) percent of bid, payable to State of Mississippi, must accompany each proposal. The attention of bidders is directed to the provisions of Subsection 102.07 pertaining to irregular proposals and rejection of bids. MSDOT - Call 05 - Overlay - SR 15 The completion of work to be performed by the Contractor for this project will not be a specified date but shall be when all allowable working days are assessed, or any extension thereto as provided in Subsection 108.06. It is anticipated that the Notice of Award will be issued no later than June 10, 2025. The Contractor shall request a Notice to Proceed/Beginning of Contract Time date between the dates of the July 10, 2025 and September 11, 2025. Should the Contractor request a Notice to Proceed earlier than July 10, 2025 and it is agreeable with the Department for an early Notice to Proceed, the requested date will become the new Notice to Proceed and Beginning of Contract Time date. Should the Contractor not request a Notice to Proceed by September 11, 2025, the date for the Notice to Proceed and Beginning of Contract Time will be September 11, 2025. All requests for an early Notice to Proceed shall be sent to the Project Engineer who will forward it to the Contract Administration Division. 32 Working Days have been allowed for the completion of work on this project. Addendum No. 1 - 5/22/2025: Work on the project shall consist of leveling and overlaying State Route 15 beginning at SR 67 then going north approximately 7 miles. QA - The BOP is at the 67 bridge excluding the ramps. The EOP is 1.6 miles North of White Planes rd. (N30.577493, W88.932155). There is a pavement change at this location. The roundabout gets milled and will be paved back with 1.5 of 9.5-mm ST. The limits on Lamey Bridge Rd. will be the pavement change at the end of the gore area on the east and west ends.
