St. Joseph, MO Water Protection Facility (WPF) Domestic Blower Replacement Construction Manager at Risk Services The Project scope includes but is not limited to the following: o Replacement of Domestic Aeration Blowers. Final number of new blowers to be determined o Upgrades to Blower Electrical Systems (e.g., wiring, conduit, MCC's, switchgear, and VFDs) Dependent on design and site conditions scope may include: o Enhancements to Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Equipment o Architectural Improvements, including installation of overhead doors and roof piping penetrations o Mechanical/HVAC Upgrades to Blower Building As part of HDR scope of services, HDR will be evaluating up to three (3) blower alternatives. The final selection on blower type will be communicated to the CMAR contractors as part of selection. 2.3 Project Budget and Funding This Project is being financed via the City and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The USACE funding requirements are still being finalized. The total Project budget, including construction, engineering, and CMAR, is $7,500,000. 2.4 Project Permits and Approvals Table 1 identifies anticipated permits and approvals required for the Project as well as the respective responsibilities of the Owner and CMAR in obtaining required permits and approvals. Final permitting requirements will be determined within the final BODR; however, an MDNR construction permit is not anticipated with this project nor are any City of St Joeseph, MO, permits. 2.5 Project Schedule This preliminary schedule seeks to provide adequate time for the procurement of material, equipment, and specialized subcontractors necessary for the replacement of the domestic blowers and associated system upgrades. Respondents are requested to provide feedback on the proposed schedule.
