The Town of Bear Creek, Waupaca County, is Requesting Bids for Reconstruction of Bear Creek Road From County Road T to Beaver Creek Road For a Tris Project. This Stretch of Road is Approximately 9,187 Feet and Will Be Paved 18 Feet Wide This Project is Part of the Local Road Improvement Program and Consists of Pulverizing Existing Asphalt Pavement From County Road T to Beaver Creek Road. 1 1/4 Inch Limestone Gravel Will Be Added to the Pulverized Asphalt to Complete a Minimum of a 4 Inch Base. Fine Grade Water and Compact the Remaining Pulverized/base Course Material. Replace a Culvert- the Culvert At Cth T Intersection Will Be a Poly Culvert 24 Inches in Diameter and 50 Feet in Length. Reconfigure Bear Creek Road and Beaver Creek Road Intersection Similar to a Type "C" Intersection. The Intersection Would Extend Approximately 250 Feet to the East and West Down Beaver Creek Road. Road Base Gravel Shall Be at Least 10 Inches Thick Below Asphalt in This Intersection. Provide Traffic Control, Signage and Flagging as Needed. Saw Cut Existing Pavement and Pave 18 Feet Wide With Wis Dot Spec.4lt58-28s Hot Mix Asphalt Compacted to an Average Thickness of 2 1/2 Inches and Shoulder the Road With 2 Foot Wide, 3/4 Inch Limestone Gravel Shoulder. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by Proof of Insurance and Bonding to the Town of Bear Creek.
