New Library and Multi-Purpose Center Construction and Digital Technology Installation Project The work, in general, will include the following schedule of work: a single lump sum contract for the construction of a new community library building, which includes collection space, small meeting/ study rooms, a multi-purpose room, with a kitchenette and a workroom/offi ce. The new facility will be roughly 9,000 square feet and will be constructed of cast-in-place concrete frost foundation, slab-ongrade concrete fl oor, precast wall panel, with ballasted EPDM roof over steel bar joists and steel deck, and cold-formed metal framed interior walls. The project includes approximately 0.90 acres of site development. This will include a rain garden, exterior book drop and library lockers for after-hours pick-up. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond of a bonding company, duly authorized to do business in the state of Wisconsin, in an amount equal to fi ve percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture, as provided by law. When submitting an electronic bid, bidder is required to deliver the original bid bond, within 72 hours of bid opening, to Cedar Corporation. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, after the date of opening.
