These specifications are for reconstruction of partially and fully deteriorated sanitary sewer pipelines by the installation of a cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) consisting of: B. A resin-impregnated flexible tube which is inverted into the existing pipe by use of a hydrostatic head. The resin is cured by circulating hot water if necessary due to infiltration or steam within the tube, which results in a continuous and tight-fitting finished pipe. C. The work shall consist of cleaning, TV inspecting and preparing the sewer bypass pumping as required, installing and curing the resin-impregnated tube, testing the installed CIPP. The Contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, material tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete the project.
