The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Cost Qualification Range for this work shall be $500,000.01 to $1,000,000.00 General: Immediately on discovery of the need for additional information, clarification, or interpretation of the Contract Documents, Contractor shall prepare and submit an RFI in the form specified. 1. Engineer will return without response those RFIs submitted to Engineer by other entities controlled by Contractor. 2. Coordinate and submit RFIs in a prompt manner to avoid delays in Contractor's work or work of subcontractors. B. Content of the RFI: Include a detailed, legible description of item needing information or interpretation and the following: 1. Project name. 2. Owner name. 3. Owner's Project number. 4. Name of Engineer. 5. Engineer's Project number. 6. Date. 7. Name of Contractor. 8. RFI number, numbered sequentially. 9. RFI subject. 10. Specification Section number and title and related paragraphs, as appropriate. 11. Drawing number and detail references, as appropriate. 12. Field dimensions and conditions, as appropriate. 13. Contractor's suggested resolution. If Contractor's suggested resolution impacts the Contract Time or the Contract Sum, Contractor shall state impact in the RFI. 14. Contractor's signature. SCOPE OF WORK A. The "Work" to be completed under this contract shall consist waterproofing and concrete repairs to the tunnel connecting City Hall and the Abel Wolman Municipal Building. The Work defined by the Construction Drawings and these Specifications shall include, but not be limited to: PROJECT SUMMARY - Waterproofing and concrete repairs to the tunnel under East Lexington Street between City Hall and the Abel Wolman Municipal Building, including weather-tight, temporary structure above excavation to prevent stormwater from entering the tunnel during construction. - Limited removal and replacement of street pavement and sidewalk above the concrete repair area, to include temporary support of existing utilities and backfill. - Maintenance of traffic for temporary lane closure on East Lexington Street for the duration for the repairs. Temporary wood barrier for maintenance of pedestrian traffic on adjacent sidewalk and access to ADA entrance to Abel Wolman Municipal Building. IB-3 LOCATION(S) OF WORK Work under this Contract will be restricted to the location(s) listed herein. There shall be no deviation from the location(s) so specified either by additions, subtractions or alterations by the Contractor or his representative without advance written permission from the Engineer.
