The project consists of the furnishing and installation of approximately 690 linear feet of steel panel fencing, various automated and manual access gates, and associated access control systems for the 1848 VIP Parking Lot. The work includes, but is not limited to: o Demolition and removal of approximately 415 linear feet of existing fencing and gates. o Fabrication and installation of new steel panel fencing, designed to match existing fencing. o Installation of automated gate systems, including a motorized rolling gate and commercial barrier gates, with vehicle detection sensors. o Installation of manual swing gates of various sizes. o Implementation of a cloud-based access control system for automated gates, including keypad, keycard, and remote-control operation capabilities. o Concrete work for fence post footings and a curbed median to house barrier arm operators. Bidders must submit with their bid proposal a bid security for five (5%) percent of total bid amount and must be executed with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Bid security is required in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.032 (Bid or Performance Bond; Payment under Contract). All Bids formally received by the Purchasing Agent in accordance with the schedule attached herein are irrevocable and cannot be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days following the date scheduled for the opening of the Bid(s).
