TRIBUTARY TO WEST NOSE CREEK: CULVERT CONSTRUCTION AT BF 74101 TRIBUTARY TO WEST NOSE CREEK 12 KM WEST OF BALZAC The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Traffic accommodation for culvert construction; - Installation and ultimately removal of temporary landowner access; - Monitoring existing timber bridge once awarded to deter swallow nests and potential nesting activities; - Fish capture and release (as required); - Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing (as required); - Temporary and permanent erosion and sediment control; - Care of water and environmental management; - Demolition and disposal of existing 4.9 m long treated timber bridge structure; - Structural and channel excavation; - Backfill; - Construction of new 33 m long 2.4 m diameter CSP culvert; - Installation of heavy rock riprap aprons (class 1); - Reconstruction of new sideslopes; - Installation and maintenance of temporary fencing; - Installation of permanent fencing (five-strand Class B); - Protection of the underlying water line, including placement of rigid insulation; and, - Roadway work including asphalt concrete paving.
