Electrical Switchgear Preventative Maintenance Program at Various Sites. Testing and Inspection of electrical switchgears, switchgear assemblies, transformers, switches, circuit breakers, protective relays, instrument transformers, and other equipment identified with contract documents. State law and regulations adopted by the Office of Public-School Construction required that State-funded programs have participation goals of three (3) percent for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) as defined in Public Contract Code 10115.1. To be considered, a firm or person(s) is required to meet the goal or to make a good faith effort to meet the DVBE participation goals as specified in the regulations. To perform the work required by this contract, the contractor must possess the following type of license/certification issued by the State of California: C-10. The Board of Trustees of the Kern High School District reserves the right to reject all bids and/or waive any irregularities in a bid. Document Note: The initial set of plans and specifications is provided at no cost to registered plan holders, with subsequent sets available for purchase by contractors.
