New construction of a detention facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Design plans call for the construction of a detention facility.

**As of 05/07/25 per the owner, there is no bid date yet. The following is description from the RFP used to solicit a design firm: This project will utilize the Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) delivery method. The CMAR will be selected via a separate process. It is anticipated that there will be three or four, separate Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) bid packages for the construction and furnishing phases of the project. These packages may include: GMP 1: Site and Early Procurement Material (parking deck, HVAC, electrical gear, etc.) GMP 2: Parking Deck Construction GMP 3: Building Construction GMP 4: Contractor Installed Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment The team will determine, at the completion of design development, the specifics of each GMP package The following are preliminary milestone completion dates for this project *dates are tentative and subject to change: Designer Selection Feb 2025 Complete Programming Confirmation and Schematic Design June 2025 Complete Design Oct 2026 Construction Begins Jan 2027 Construction substantially complete June 2029 -- Consideration for early site package and procurement shall be given
