Provide construction services for the replacement of polycarbonate skylight panels and replacement with CDX plywood, underlayment, and metal roofing to match existing adjacent metal panels. The work shall include all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for a complete, weather-tight, finished product. At a minimum work shall include the following: o Remove existing polycarbonate panels along each side of Building 4 Salt Storage Building. o Install new 5/8" CDX plywood to match existing to secure to existing 2x6 purlins. Provide blocking on purlins as needed to support plywood. o Install 30# titanium underlayment moisture barrier over plywood. o Install new factory formed 29 gage corrugated metal roofing panels to underlying plywood. Panel color to be selected by the County. o Provide necessary new metal trims to promote proper shedding of water as required. Copies of the as-built drawings and dimensions for this building are provided in Attachment A - Building Drawings. Detail 8 - Skylight Installation on Drawing A-7 provides cross-sectional view of this installation. The intent of this specification is to outline a "turnkey" project. Bids are to include all labor, equipment and materials necessary for complete installation as described. Items which may have been unintentionally omitted but which are required for a complete project are the responsibility of the Contractor.
