Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Aurora, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.

Hamilton County, Nebraska is soliciting Letters of Interest (LOI) from companies interested in providing Design/Build Services for the design and construction of the Hamilton County Extension Building. Located at 310 A Street, Aurora, Nebraska. The Project will consist of: 1. Preparation of the site for the proposed project. 2. Connection to existing utilities. 3. Design and construction of a one story, slab-on-grade, 50'X100', pre-engineered metal building. 4. New concrete sidewalks, concrete parking area, and rocked parking area. 5. Building and site signage and parking striping as appropriate. If the soliciting process is successful, the contract award is currently anticipated for July 28, 2025 with expected construction start date of September 29, 2025 and construction completion of July 28, 2026 One Design/Builder will be selected for the entire project. The selection process will have two steps. Letters of Interest shall be reviewed by the County in consultation with the Performance Criteria Developer. The County shall select prospective design/builders in accordance with the procedures and standards set forth in Hamilton County Resolution No. 1190. Selected design/builders will be requested to submit a proposal. Hamilton County is seeking Design/Builders that are committed to quality, have proven experience in the design and construction of similar projects, will bring innovative design/build approaches to ensure timely completion, and are willing to partner with Hamilton County for the mutual success of the project. Companies interested in providing design/build services or participating as a member of a design/build team should send a LOI by United States Postal Service or by electronic mail with arrival on or before June 9, 2025 to: Pat Shaw, Hamilton County Business Manager Hamilton County Courthouse 1111 13th Street, Suite 7 Aurora, NE 68818 hcam@hamiltoncountyne.gov The LOI must state the name, ad- dress, phone, and email address of the person whom the County may contact at your company, to provide further information about the project. Hamilton County is seeking Design/Builders that are committed to quality, have proven experience in the design and construction of similar projects, will bring innovative design/build approaches to ensure timely completion, and are willing to partner with Hamilton County for the mutual success of the project. The County reserves the sole right, without incurring any liability, to change any aspect of the proposed procurement described above, including the right to not proceed with the procurement and/or the right to proceed in a different manner or on a different timeline than as described above. Interested Design-Build Contractors having questions or requiring clarification or interpretation of the Proposal documents shall make a written request via email.
