Site work for a civil project in Westfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of clearing and grubbing, removal of stumps and associated root balls, backfill and compaction with specified materials, embankment regrading and partial reconstruction, loam and seed, and installation of erosion control blankets. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, 39M as amended. A bid deposit of 5% of the project cost shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract.
