Scope of Services: The scope of the project consists of an indoor air quality improvement for the Lafayette Police Department. This includes removing and upgrading the chilled water units on the roof of the building, the indoor air handlers on all floors of the building, upgrading chilled water pumps, and replacing terminal units. The scope also includes removing and upgrading the building management system. The electrical service shall be reused where able and upgraded to accommodate upgraded mechanical equipment. Alternate Bid Items include removal and replacement of exhaust systems in all restrooms. The project site is located at 900 E University Ave Lafayette, LA 70503. All Base Bid work to be completed within four hundred forty-eight (448) calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Refer to Sections 010100 forty-eight Work and 010300 Alternates for contingent additional calendar days for completion of Alternate Bid work if accepted. Replacing chillers, air handling units, terminal boxes, and other duct revisions per bidding documents throughout the Lafayette Police Department office building. Alternate work includes replacing exhaust systems in restrooms with individual exhaust fans. 2. Replace original main switchboard, upgrade circuitry to three chillers, install several new circuits to serve HVAC equipment, disconnect and reconnect multiple pieces of HVAC equipment as scheduled Project has been awarded.
