Reference Number 0000386407 Bid Intent Not Available Purchase Type: Term: 08/01/2025 01:00 AM EDT - 08/01/2026 12:59 AM EDT Option: two, one-year optional extensions Liquid aluminum sulfate is needed for chemical treatment of wastewater at the Central Water Reclamation Facility, the Bayou Marcus Water Reclamation Facility, and the Pensacola Beach Water Reclamation Facility. General Description: Aqueous solution: 48.5% dry AL2 (SO4)3 Aluminum Sulfate - practically free of insoluble matter. Compositions - 8.3% AL203 Aluminum Oxide + 0.1% the baume- of this solution at 60 degrees F being 36.5 degrees + 0.5. No free acid. Iron as FE no greater than 50 PPM. It is anticipated that the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority will require approximately 1890 dry tons of liquid alum in approximately 4500-gallon loads. However, these quantities may vary. The price quoted shall be per ton, dry weight, based on the foregoing annual usage: Deliveries will be made to the following locations: Bayou Marcus WRF - 3050 Fayal Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526, End of Fayal Drive off of Blue Angel Parkway (650 dry tons) Pensacola Beach WRF - 53 Via De Luna Drive, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561 (140 dry tons) Central Water Reclamation Facility - 2980 Old Chemstrand Road, Cantonment, FL 32533 (1100 dry tons) Additional drop sites may be added, if needed. The supplier shall provide the hoses and means for filling the storage tank. The price quotation shall include all charges associated with the delivery including transportation, pumping and other charges that might relate to delivery. The delivery vehicle shall be capable of blowing the residual product in the hoses into the tank with low pressure or by pumping. The delivery provider shall provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during loading/connecting operations. Any spills of product shall be immediately addressed and ECUA staff must be promptly notified and the site neutralized or cleaned by the chemical provider.
