As of July 7, 2025, project is awarded to Matthew Paving, Inc., in the amount of $1,939,524.55. 2025 South Area Pavement, Dam and Electric Service Repairs Notice is hereby given that the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "District") is soliciting Bids for the above referenced project. The 2025 South Area Pavement, Dam and Electric Service Repairs scope includes repackaging the previously advertised but not awarded 2024 South Area Pavement, Dam and Canoe Launch Improvements with new sites added and the Maywood parking lot, dam and canoe launch work eliminated. The new 2025 contract will include but is not limited to, repairs at Joe Orr Woods, Midlothian Meadows, Whistler Woods, and Tampier Lake. The following site will also be included: Dan Ryan Woods (Gold Star Memorial and Restrooms A-B electrical service replacement) Question Deadline 05/21/2025 at 12:00 PM CT All inquiries must be directed in writing and emailed to the District's Director of Procurement as follows: Email: fpd.purchasing@cookcountyil.gov Work shall be substantially completed within 395 calendar days ; The Contract shall end within 90 calendar days from the Substantial Completion date.
