Site work and paving for a civil project in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Redesign and rehabilitate culvert crossing along Falconhurst Drive to improve the ability to handle larger storm events. Provide Stream restoration including benching along the Toms Creek below the culvert reducing sedimentation potential from standing water in the low spot and provides additional floodplain storage and direction to Tom's Creek. Tributary stabilization and restoration leading to culvert to reduce sediment loads at the culvert. As of May 8, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
