As of 06/18/2025 project has been awarded to Earle Asphalt Company., Inc. with an awarded amount of $ 606,113.13 .** The work of this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Milling/Overlay of portions of Deerhead Lake Drive, Hillwood Road and Pineview Road. Including approximately 28,282 SY milling, variable depth; approximately 3,750 tons hot mix asphalt surface course; approximately 264 tons of hot mix asphalt base course; 466 linear feet of concrete vertical curb; traffic striping; and all other work necessary and incidental thereto. Each Proposal must be submitted utilizing the forms contained within the Contract Documents. It must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his address and name of Project(s) for which the Bid is submitted. Materials to be contained within the sealed envelope are specified under "Instructions to Bidders." Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Lacey Township and shall be without condition or qualification. All Bidders shall be required to comply with Chapter 127, P.L. 1975, c. 127, requiring each Bidder and each Subcontractor to formulate and submit to the proper authorized representative of the State of New Jersey an Affirmative Action Program of equal opportunity which guarantees minorities employment in all categories. No oral interpretation shall be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of any of the Contract Documents or be effective to modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) days before the established date for Bid opening. The Engineer will arrange an addendum, which shall become part of the contract, all pertinent questions received and his decision regarding each. Prior to the opening of the Bids, a copy of these addenda, will be sent to each of those who have obtained a set of the Contract Documents from the Engineer. Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of addenda in the space provided in the Bid. In the event that the Bidder does not acknowledge receipt of any or all addenda, the Bidder shall be bound to comply with said addenda.
