The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen is seeking tenders from a qualified contractor with the capabilities of meeting the specifications, installation and timelines specified. The existing outdoor rink is in the hamlet of Cordova Mines within the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen. The outdoor rink is located at 3360 County Road 46, beside the Township Fire Hall. The existing concrete slab that was poured in July 2024 developed a number of defects that require repair as set out in the Statement of Work. The successful contractor will be expected to work with the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen staff to establish pre-installation requirements. These requirements include but are not limited to removing one inch (1") the entire existing slab and pouring a new bonded slab not less than three inches (3") thick over the prepared base. Transportation and disposal of the removed material will be required. The requirements of the submission are outlined in the RFT, and the requirements and objectives of the project are outlined in the Project Scope and Deliverables.
