Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Drumheller, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,200-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and 6,400-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility.
The Town of Drumheller is planning to construct a new salt and sand storage building at its operations site and is seeking a qualified contractor to deliver both the building and the foundation as a complete, integrated project. This includes the full design and construction of a salt and sand storage unit, along with the installation of a solid, multi-layered foundation system. The foundation will consist of materials such as sand, a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liner, additional sand, gravel, and asphalt. In addition, a drainage system must be installed beneath the surface to collect leaching and direct it to a single catchment barrel provided by the Town. The intent of this RFP is to identify a proponent who can deliver a full-scope solution, bringing both technical expertise and practical experience to the project. Proponents are encouraged to provide creative, efficient, and cost-effective approaches for the full build, including any improvements to the Town's preliminary concept.
