Site work and paving for a civil project in O Fallon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

This project consists of approximately 2,200 tons of hot mix asphalt resurfacing on Bowler Road from the Township maintenance line just north of O'Fallon-Troy Road to Haury Road. There will also be shoulder improvements constructed along Bowler Road within the paving limits. The project will also consist of hot-mix asphalt and aggregate driveway aprons, restoration of pavement markings and reflective pavement markers, HMA patching, culvert replacement, traffic control and all other miscellaneous items required to complete the improvements located in O'Fallon Township, Illinois. No less than the prevailing rate of wages, as determined in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage, shall be paid to all laborers, operators, teamsters, masons, plumbers, and any workmen employed in construction on this project. All Bidders shall be prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation for HMA Paving (005 }. A Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois, as well as other proof of ability to complete the work as prescribed in the Project Specifications, shall be presented upon request prior to bidding or award of the contract as determined by the Highway Commissioner. All work shall be performed in accordance with the IDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, edition in effect at the time of the bid. No bid will be accepted nor opened which has been received from any bidder who is not a bid document holder of record with the official bid document issuing entity identified in the Notice to Bidders. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total bid price, such security being an acceptable bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the full amount of the bid. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The O'Fallon Township Highway Commissioner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding.
