The goals of this program are to reduce energy usage in single and multi-family residences and lower energy consumption and energy bills for low-income residents in Dallas County through energy audits, energy efficiency measures, upgrades, weatherization, and education regarding energy conservation. The County anticipates selecting up to two (2) Contractors categorized as primary and secondary on the basis of qualifications, the highest points earned, and available funding to perform basic weatherization improvements that offer the best value to the County, based on the published evaluation criteria on page 11. The primary vendor will have the right of first refusal on all work orders.
