It is understood and agreed that the County may, during the term of the awarded agreement, request additional services be performed by the successful Contractor(s) at other locations within the County. This option, if exercised, is the prerogative of the County and shall be honored by the Contractor(s) throughout the contract period. No guarantees are made that additional services will be requested. Arapahoe County Federal Warehouse building located at 5251 S Federal Blvd. was involved in a high wind situation where a large section of the parapet wall roofing membrane lost adhesion and began to fail. Temporary repairs were made to keep the area watertight. II. SCOPE OF WORK o Photograph existing conditions and problem areas before beginning work. o Clean / prep areas per manufacturers' recommendations for repairs. o Remove failing wall flashing membrane. o Prep and clean wall substrate for new membrane. o Photograph the correct installation of vertical termination o Install new .90 mil EPDM roofing membrane with correct vertical termination to prevent material from wall bridging. o Install new parapet cap flashing with cleat. o Photograph completed work, clean up and trash and debris removal o Clean up all trash and debris from and around job site (Dispose Offsite). Labor Details: o Move ballast away from parapet wall. o Remove damaged and failing wall flashing membrane. o Verify good undamaged substrate. o Clean and prep wall substrate. o Install correct vertical termination flashing before membrane installation. o Install new membrane. o Install new parapet cap flashing. o Move ballast back to base of parapet wall (Replenish ballast material as needed). Materials Required for Repairs: o 90 mil EPDM Versico with all supporting materials per manufacturers specifications. o 26GA parapet cap metal (Color matched). o Vertical termination to prevent wall delamination. o Replenish ballast material as needed
