Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Jennings, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of July 09, 2025 This project has been awarded to Fenson Contracting, with the awarded amount of $675,086.15.** The proposed work consists of providing and installing a prefabricated Steel Truss Pedestrian Bridge 180 feet long and 10 feet wide over the Auglaize River. Additional work items include Excavation, Embankment, Concrete Abutments on Piling, Concrete Walks, and incidentals. Construction activities may not begin until August 18, 2025 (after the Village festival). The work will be substantially completed on or before August 1, 2026, and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions on or before August 8, 2026. Bids must be submitted on the unbound Bid Forms furnished with the Bidding Documents and must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or a Bid Security furnished in Bond Form, issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party submitting the proposal and all people interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Attention must be given to all the requirements contained in the bid packet, prevailing wage rates, various insurance requirements and the requirement for a payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Bids will only be accepted from the Bidders listed on the Engineer's Official plan holders list Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Putnam County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employments Services, Wage and Hour Division. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Village of Fort Jennings reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
