Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project for which proposals are being sought includes the following approximate quantities: o 510 LF of storm sewer (12- inch and 15-inch) and associated appurtenances o 1,300 TONS of asphaltic concrete pavement placement o 4,650 CY of unclassified excavation o 7,600 TONS of crushed aggregate base course o 120 SY of 8-inch concrete sidewalk and driveway o 1,200 LF of chain link fence o 900 LF of Electrical Conduit (1-inch and 2-inch) o 4,000 LF of electrical wiring and associated appurtenances o 3 Street Lights o Terrace Restoration All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of De Pere, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute a contract and furnish a contract bond as set forth in the General Conditions of the City of De Pere. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond, the amount of the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of De Pere as liquidated damages. The letting of the contract is subject to the provisions of the following Wisconsin Statutes: Section 62.15 regarding Public Works. Section 66.0901(3) regarding Prequalification of Contractor. Each bidder shall pre-qualify by submitting proof of responsibility on forms furnished by the Director of Public Works.
