Depot Parking Lot Expansion-The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to expand existing improved depot parking surface onto an adjacent 1 acre tract including but not limited to grubbing, clearing, demolition of existing pavement, gravel and rip-rap surfaces and stormwater management facilities and reconstruction of new stormwater management facilities, new curb and drainage improvements, reconstructed base, new asphalt topping, and landscaping. Answers to questions: June 04, 2025 Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. Separate Contract Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder prior to execution of contracts. Attorney-in-fact who signs Bid Bond must file with the bond a certified and effectively dated copy of their Power of Attorney. This shall be attached to the Bid Bond. The bids are to be sealed Owner's Right: Contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in the advertisement for bids; provided, however, that if the bid from the lowest responsible and responsive bidder exceeds funds budgeted, Georgia College may negotiate with such apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within the budgeted amount. Such negotiations may include changes in the scope of work and other bid requirements. Bidders' attention is called to Section D, paragraph 4 of the SUPPLEMENTARY GENERAL CONDITIONS which establishes minimum qualifications for Contractors bidding this project.
