Renovation of a water / sewer project in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Each bid must include a 5% bid security (bid bond, certified check, or cash). A 100% performance bond and labor and materials bond will be required from the awarded contractor. The Town of North Attleborough Wastewater Plant, located at 30 Cedar Road in Attleboro, currently has a proprietary Honeywell FCI Fire Alarm Panel with Clip Mode communications with pull station and smoke devices. The Town is requesting bids to replace the 4-panel system with a new, non-proprietary, Silent Knight SK devices and replace all addressable devices that are currently installed on the system with Lite Speed Protocol devices, (or approved equivalent). This procurement is subject to M.G.L. c.30, 39M and c.149, 44A-44H. Prevailing wage laws (M.G.L. c.149, 26-27D) apply, and certified payrolls must be submitted weekly.#. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. Bids shall remain valid for 30 business days (excluding weekends and legal holidays) after opening. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
