The Town is seeking a vendor to provide the Electric Division with three (3) Padmounted S&C Vista Switchgear Units and tooling materials. General: 1. Catalog # 934222-L2-O-P14-R11-T2-W11 2. Switch is to be rated at 15 kV, 12.5 kA 3. Switch is to have four (4) ways; two (2) shall be rated at 600 Amp; two (2) shall be rated at 200 Amp (Ways 3&4) 4. Parking stands to be installed adjacent to Ways 3 & 4 5. Switch shall have potential indication with test feature 6. Two-hole ground pad, one per way, located below bushings or bushing wells 7. Stainless steel high voltage enclosure, olive green 8. Remote low-pressure alarm, including internal contact for remote low-pressure indication, with wiring to outside of tank. 9. Three-pole manual fault interrupter on both fault interrupting ways. 10. 6" stainless steel base spacer. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the amount stated on the contract proposal, made payable to the "Treasurer, Town of Wallingford", must be submitted with each bid, as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded, the bidder will execute such contract and furnish satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Bond if required. Unsuccessful bidders shall be entitled to return of surety where the Agent has required bid deposits. A successful bidder shall forfeit any surety required by the Agent upon failure on his part to enter into a contract within ten (10) days after being notified of the award. That should any part of this proposal be accepted in writing by the Purchasing Agent within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of bid opening, said bidder will furnish and deliver the commodities and/or services for which this proposal is made, in the quantities and at the prices bid, and in compliance with the Specifications.
