BROADHEAD STORM SEWER SEPARATION Base Bid - Crafton Boulevard; Broadhead Avenue; Warren Street; Parke Street; Coulter Street; Belvidere Street; Crennel Avenue; N. Emily Street and N. Linwood Avenue The project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of new storm sewer pipe, inlets and manholes; clearing and grubbing; traffic control; resident notification; erosion and sedimentation control measures; existing utility protection; reconstruction of streets, including, but not limited to, the removal of existing brick, concrete and bituminous paving and subbase and replacement with aggregate subbase and bituminous pavement; removal and replacement of existing concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk and handicap ramps; bituminous milling and overlay; and miscellaneous site restoration, complete in place. Additional Bids Multiple Streets The project includes, but is not limited to, traffic control; resident notification; erosion and sedimentation control measures; existing utility protection; full depth street reconstruction; existing concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk and handicap ramp replacement; bituminous milling and overlay; and miscellaneous site restoration on multiple streets in Crafton Borough, complete in place. Proposals must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Crafton Borough in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals must be made to Crafton Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. Bidders are also advised that the Base Bid and all Additional Bids must be completed on the Proposal Form for the bid to be considered as responsive and that the Borough intends to award the Contract to the lowest PennDOT prequalified, responsible, and responsive Bidder based on the total bid submitted for the Base Bid and/or the total bid submitted for any combination of the Base Bid and Additional Bids as selected at the Boroughs sole discretion.
