Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Cape Coral, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Question Cuttoff Date & Time 6/1/2025 05:00:00 PM (ET) A new EMS station and Safe Room as defined in FEMA P-361, shall be designed in accordance with the ICC 500 Standards to reflect the vernacular characteristics of the surrounding area. The COUNTY is planning for an approximate 10,000 square foot facility; however, the final size will be determined during design phases based on operational needs and budget constraints. The facility shall include site and right-of-way improvements, apparatus bays, decontamination room, IT room, mechanical room, storage, laundry facility, restrooms with showers, minimum of eight (8) bunk rooms, fitness area, kitchen/living area and several offices, custodial facilities, emergency generator, diesel and regular gas tanks, a refueling station, and mechanical yard. The facility shall include a Safe Room to accommodate approximately 88 staff members. The anticipated completion of the construction of the designed facility to be no later than December 31st, 2027. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
