The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work No later than 3:30 pm (ET), Tuesday, June 24, 2025, unless extended by the Department for good cause. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to construct water system and wastewater upgrades per the contract documents. Builder's Risk Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price. Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP's Bureau of Design and Construction. To request a pre-qualification letter, the bidder should email BDC_Contracts@dep.state.fl.us. If not prequalified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid. Pursuant to Executive Order 07-126 and Section 255.252(3), F.S. the Department requires the proposed project be designed and constructed in accordance with green building standards where applicable.
