Reference Number 0000293359 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/05/26 12:00:00 AM CDT The Work includes the design, supply, delivery and installation of a new stator winding radial ripple spring wedging system, re-installation of rotor field busbars, design, supply and delivery of stator bars and rotor poles, and other rotor and stator assessments, inspections, cleaning and repairs of the Grand Rapids Unit 4 generator. Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for the generator refurbishment including design, supply, and installation of a new stator winding radial ripple spring wedging system, re-insulation of rotor field busbars, design and supply of spare stator bars and rotor poles, and other rotor and stator assessments for Unit 4 at Grand Rapids Generating Station. Manitoba Hydro’s Grand Rapids generating station consists of four vertical axis, Kaplan turbine generators. The Unit 4 turbine runner is being replaced, and the outage for the runner replacement provides an opportunity to complete generator refurbishment items.
