Marion county is seeking a firm which is qualified to provide I-75 gateway maintenance services. The county has completed, or is in the process of completing, two projects along I-75 involving towers and bridge mounted signage. The "I-75 local id markers" project is composed of two monument signs at the county line along I-75 at approximately mile marker 368.56 southbound, and mile marker 336.89 northbound. The signs are located along the edges of florida department of transportation (fdot) right of way (r/w). Services required for this project will include, but not limited to, cleaning and general maintenance. The "I-75 gateway - sw 43rd st rd" project is composed of bridge-mounted panels and two monument towers, located on the south side of the sw 43rd st rd bridge over I-75 and within the fdot r/w. Services required for this project will include, but not limited to, cleaning, general and specific maintenance. Maintenance responsibilities may range from repairing cracks to replacing lighting bulbs, tightening bolts and replacing brackets, maintenance of traffic activities and any other repairs needed during the maintenance contract period. Contract term is for two (2) years, with three (1) optional one (1) year renewals; pending mutual agreement by both parties. Intent to Bid Due Date: Jun 12th 2025, 8:00 AM EDT
