Bids for the above project are invited in the following contract categories: Contract No. 1 - Site Construction During the bidding period, questions regarding the project shall be e-mailed to the attention of Carolyn DuBois at cdubois@kandwengineers.com . Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, a cashiers check or a bid bond of an approved Surety Company in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of Shippensburg Area School District. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive, at his discretion, any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto. Question Deadline 05/22/2025 Bidders who discover errors, discrepancies, or ambiguitiesin the bidding documents, or who shall be in doubt as to the true meaning or intent of any part thereof, may submit a written request to the Engineer for an interpretation or correction thereof;such requestshall be delivered to the Engineer at least seven (7) days prior to bid opening date. The project will consist of removal of six (6) existing asphalt tennis courts, net posts / nets, and chain link fencing and existing trench drains and associated drainpipes. Installsix (6) new asphalt tennis courts with colored acrylic coating (2 tennis courts will also include line striping for pickleball), new nets / net posts at each court, 10' high black vinyl coated chain link fencing w/gates, tennis rebounder wall, new ADA accessible concrete walks, new trench drains and associated discharge pipes and ADA parking signage. The existing segmental block walls and stairs between the courts will remain.
