Total removal of the existing bridge and stone abutments and wingwalls (superstructure and substructure), construction of new bridge elements (precast concrete three sided rigid frame and headwalls, precast concrete pedestal footings, precast concrete wingwalls), bridge rail, earthwork, drainage, approach roadway work. The Project has substantial completion on or before May 1, 2026, and is ready for final payment on or before June 31, 2026. The Town of Chester reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town. All Bidders (Prime Contractor or a Contractor/Subcontractors Team) must be listed by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation as prequalified for Bridge/Site Road Construction.
