Question Submission Deadline: August 7, 2025, 11:30pm. o The Public Works Truck Metal Shelter shall be 50' x175' with 7 - 25' bays. Front and rear wall to be fully open (except 1 bay on each end will have 1 rear wall of 1 bay closed. Both end walls shall be closed. Price shall include erection and pier foundations. Pre-engineered Building with Engineered foundation plan. The building shall be designed to withstand 120 MPH Wind Load and 10 PSF Ground Snow Load. Design shall allow for this support without requiring center pillars (clear span). o Install 6" Concrete Pad (5,000 PSI) With W4.0 x W4.0, 6" x 6" Welded Wire Fabric. All work shall be completed in accordance with the 2018 edition of the Virginia Statewide Building Code. Bid Bonds are REQUIRED for all non-transportation related construction projects in excess of $500,000 and all transportation related construction contracts in excess of $350,000 and partially or wholly funded by the Commonwealth. The amount of the bid bond shall not exceed five (5%) percent of the amount bid.
